EDEP Summary

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide all students with a safe, positive and challenging learning environment that enables them to be prepared, productive and contributing citizens. Our objective is to recognize and develop individuality, self-growth and responsibility using a variety of strategies and cooperative efforts throughout the school, home, and community.

Program Overview

Our goal is to make sure that your child’s before and after-school experience is fun, safe and productive.  From 2:50 pm to 6:00 pm, your child can enjoy a healthy snack, receive homework help, and participate in several enrichment activities.

One of the most exciting elements about our program is filled with a variety of enrichment activities.  Those activities include, but are not limited to, educational and recreational skills such as dance, virtual reality experiences, STEM, fitness and much more! The Extended day staff and I strive to establish a program that runs smoothly and efficiently. Our programs' daily routine is organized as follows:

  • 2:50 pm - 3:15pm (Check-in and Snack)
  • 3:30 pm - 4:30pm (Homework Help and Reading-quiet time)
  • 4:30 pm - 5:30pm (Special Area-games, arts & crafts, computers and enrichment activities)
  • 5:30 pm - 6:00pm (Outdoor play time and Dismissal)
