Principal’s Message

Looking for an elementary program that pairs rigorous academics with purposeful arts integration? Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts (ATMSA) has been Leon County’s pioneering magnet school since 1999. Our model embeds the arts into data-driven, state-approved core curriculum, offering students enriched options like violin, media, gardening, chorus, visual art, and theater.

This year, our students will perform Matilda Jr., continuing a proud tradition of large-scale musical productions that build confidence, collaboration, and communication skills. ATMSA educators prioritize the whole child — building academics, creativity and resilience. Interested in learning how our arts-integrated approach supports student outcomes?

Let’s connect.

Warm regards,
Dr. Pam Hightower
